Istanbul has to be one of my favourite cities... it has an amazing blend of wonderful food, culture, history warm and friendly locals and its energetic vibe is contagious!
We arrived in Istanbul at 6am the day after the city had experience its worst floods in centuries! Despite it was great to be back in the city after three years and we enjoyed a couple of days revisiting wonderful places that we saw in 2006 and recovering from our jetlag. Of course, we reacquainted ourselves with the Turkish cuisine!
