If we thought staying on the yacht couldn’t be topped we were very pleasantly surprised when we turned up at the Marmara hotel in Bodrum early on Saturday morning. Definitely the best hotel we have stayed at on the trip and the views from the pool out across the town of Bodrum, the Aegean sea and the Greek island of Kos were only rivalled by the beers and cocktails which were enjoyed at regular intervals throughout the day. We bade a sad farewell to Grant and Maria early on Sunday morning but the remaining 4 of us spent another day engulfed in the lounges and day-beds of the Marmara. Superb.
